European Journal for Philosophy of Religion (EJPR) is a peer-reviewed international scholarly journal devoted to the problems of the philosophy of religion as these arise out of classical and contemporary discussions and from varied religious traditions. The journal’s special mission is to enable a fruitful exchange between representatives of various traditions within contemporary philosophy of religion both in Europe and elsewhere.

EJPR is published biannually. Space is devoted to articles, of which about 25 are published each year, exclusively in English. The journal contains a book review section, which may include review articles and shorter notes.
Although the journal is committed to no position and invites papers without restriction of philosophical method or orientation, it encourages publication of papers in which clear philosophical questions about God and other issues of philosophy of religion are being asked, a clear thesis is defended, and clear arguments are given.

EJPR has been founded with the aim of fostering the development of philosophy of religion in Continental Europe. While the extensive Advisory Board includes the leading philosophers of religion from North America and Great Britain, the Editorial Board of the journal is made up primarily of philosophers from Continental Europe. The refereeing process of the journal is being overseen by the Founding Editor and the Chair of the Advisory Board.
